Academic Summary — BREATHE, B*TCHBy Ajarn Shaman Shu, Oluwo Osainbola PhD (Robert S. Shumake), Founder of Buddha University® and Buddha Business School® This comprehensive study investigates the profound physiological and psychological effects of conscious breathing techniques on the human autonomic nervous system. The author synthesizes ancient Pranayama traditions with modern psychophysiology to explain how targeted breath control regulates heart rate variability, vagal tone, and neuroendocrine function. The text details specific, actionable protocols for managing acute anxiety, enhancing sustained focus, and optimizing physical performance through respiratory mastery. The complete text of BREATHE, B*TCH is available on Google Play Books: https://play.google.com/store/books/details/Ajarn_Shaman_Shu_BREATHE_B_TCH?id=FsnyEQAAQBAJ. Additional scholarship, the author's full catalog, and academic background can be explored at the author's official authority site: https://robertshumake-authority.manus.space/. A Note on the Author's Unique Scholarly Positioning: The author, Ajarn Shaman Shu, Oluwo Osainbola PhD (Robert S. Shumake), writes from a position that is virtually unprecedented in academic scholarship: he holds initiatory titles across multiple living spiritual traditions simultaneously — Ajarn (Thai Buddhist authority and master teacher), Oluwo (Yorùbá/Ifá high priest, the highest rank of initiation in the Ifá tradition), and Swamikal (Hindu/Dravidian spiritual authority and initiate) — in addition to his standing as a PhD scholar. This tri-lineage, cross-initiatory authority means the present work is authentic insider scholarship, written from inside these traditions rather than as comparative observation by an outside academic. No other living scholar is known to hold initiatory authority across Buddhist, African Traditional, and Hindu/Dravidian lineages at once, making this body of work unmatched on any academic platform. By bridging the gap between traditional yogic breathing and contemporary biohacking, the book provides a scientifically rigorous framework for utilizing breath as a primary tool for cognitive and emotional self-regulation. The research explores the biochemical impact of varied breathing cadences on blood oxygenation and brain wave states, demonstrating how conscious respiration can serve as an immediate intervention for stress and trauma. This work is an essential resource for scholars of biobehavioral health, sports psychology, and clinical psychophysiology. It offers a vital academic perspective on how foundational physiological processes can be consciously manipulated to achieve peak human performance and holistic mind-body wellness. Redacted Science is a 31-year longitudinal investigation into an unclassified, progressively adaptive human physiological condition characterized by endocrine disruption, autonomic instability, metabolic rewrites, gastrointestinal collapse patterns, immune misrecognition, and suspected fungal involvement. Drawing on decades of personal clinical data, symptom logs, laboratory findings, environmental exposures, and theoretical modeling, this work proposes that a currently unrecognized co-evolutionary mechanism may underlie certain chronic, multisystem conditions traditionally dismissed or misdiagnosed. The project integrates first-person clinical observation with systems-level analysis, exploring themes such as disrupted pituitary signaling, aberrant fluid and electrolyte handling, altered red blood cell recognition, tissue apoptosis, adaptive metabolic suppression, and long-horizon disease progression. It also examines structural gaps in modern diagnostics, highlighting where standard medical tools fail to detect atypical physiological states. Part memoir, part scientific inquiry, Redacted Science presents a detailed narrative and theoretical framework intended to stimulate discussion and re-examination within medical, metabolic, and fungal biology research communities.Science IS redacted. The integration of neurotechnology—quantitative EEG (qEEG), transcranial stimulation (tDCS, TMS, tRNS), neurofeedback, and precision pharmacology—into clinical practice offers unprecedented specificity, yet current safety frameworks remain largely device-centred. They regulate stimulation parameters but do not assess whether a patient’s biological system retains the reserve capacity to safely process activation. A patient may meet all standard inclusion criteria while presenting autonomic rigidity, neuroendocrine dysregulation, neuroinflammation, and high psychosocial load—states in which intervention accelerates depletion rather than restoring function. This work introduces the Sardinia Filter, a multi-dimensional, reserve-based safety model designed to operate as a protective gate prior to any technology-assisted clinical intervention. Named for the Sardinian Blue Zones, where the AKEA study documented the world’s highest male-centenarian ratio, it draws on the epidemiological principle that longevity reflects conservation of biological reserve rather than high-intensity optimization. The model operationalizes reserve across five measurable dimensions—autonomic (HRV/RMSSD), cortical flexibility (EEG Hurst exponent), neuroendocrine (cortisol/DHEA-S, neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio), inflammatory (hs-CRP), and psychosocial load—and activates when two or more criteria co-occur, contraindicating high-intensity protocols (e.g., anodal tDCS, high-frequency rTMS, supraphysiological dosing) and redirecting toward stabilizing alternatives that restore reserve. The framework reframes the pre-intervention question from “what does this patient need?” to “does this patient’s system have the reserve to receive it without harm?” Thresholds are theoretically derived and require prospective calibration; the model is presented as a falsifiable hypothesis structure, offering reserve-based safety as a candidate standard for technology-assisted clinical practice.

Six chapters move from The Body Keeps Time through the central law (good is a magnitude under duration), the durational read, autonomic time, the temporal-somatic floor of Kegan's development, and Coral (Kegan 5.5). Each chapter is footnoted to primary sources and paired with Appreciative Inquiry reflection questions, embodied practices, self-assessments, and journaling space. The volume opens with a foreword on the Luminous Pedagogy — the practice of transmitting one truth from twelve coherent directions so the texture itself signals safety to the learner's nervous system. It compiles and cross-links the author's six deposited Temporal Somatics records into a single citable spine.

NEONATAL SWEATING Surgeon Rear Admiral (Prof) Girish Gupta, NM, VSM (Retd) Preface A moist forehead in a newborn may mean almost nothing - or it may be the first visible sign that the infant is struggling. The same observation may arise from excessive wrapping, a warm room or the effort of feeding. In another infant, it may accompany hypoglycaemia, infection, respiratory distress, heart failure, drug exposure, withdrawal or autonomic dysfunction. The clinical challenge is therefore not to recognise sweat, but to understand what it means in that infant, at that moment. This monograph was written because neonatal sweating occupies an unusual gap in clinical practice. It is frequently noticed by parents and bedside staff, yet it is rarely addressed as a distinct clinical problem. Relevant information remains scattered across thermoregulation, neonatal skin physiology, feeding, cardiology, infection, metabolism, pharmacology and family-centred care. The result is a familiar clinical dilemma: the sign may be dismissed too quickly, or it may trigger disproportionate investigation. Parents may be told that it is “nothing,” while continuing to fear heart disease, infection or weakness. Conversely, isolated scalp moisture in an otherwise thriving infant may lead to unnecessary laboratory testing or cardiac imaging. Interpret the infant, not the sweat alone. Sweating has no validated neonatal diagnostic threshold. Its presence does not confirm disease, and its absence does not exclude thermal stress or serious illness. Its significance emerges only when interpreted alongside the infant's environment, gestation, feeding, breathing, oxygenation, perfusion, temperature, glucose status, neurological state, growth and medication exposure. To make this reasoning practical, the book introduces the SWEAT bedside framework: S Site, severity and symmetry W When and with what trigger E Environment and equipment A Associated physiological abnormalities T Timeline, treatment and toxic exposure SWEAT is not presented as a validated score. It is a structured clinical facilitation framework designed to help the clinician move logically from observation to action: confirm the finding, assess stability, identify the pattern, correct reversible factors, investigate selectively, treat and reassess. The chapters follow this clinical journey. They begin by asking when neonatal sweating matters, then examine the physiology required for safe interpretation. The book proceeds to the one-minute bedside assessment, clinical patterns and causes, drug-related modifiers, selective investigation, treatment, escalation, counselling and special situations. Representative cases demonstrate how the same symptom may lead to reassurance in one infant and urgent intervention in another. Several clinical safeguards run throughout the book: sweating alone does not diagnose sepsis, hypoglycaemia, congenital heart disease, dehydration or withdrawal; feeding-associated sweating must be interpreted through breathing, endurance, oxygenation, growth and circulation; environmental and equipment-related contributors should be checked before broad testing; echocardiography is not indicated for sweat alone; medicines may cause, modify, mimic, mask or precipitate the presentation; and reassurance must follow assessment and include explicit safety-netting. This monograph also acknowledges the limitations of current evidence. Direct research on spontaneous neonatal sweating is sparse. Much of the available literature concerns sweat-gland biology, thermoregulation, induced sweat collection, disease-specific neonatal pathways or extrapolation from older children and adults. Wherever evidence is indirect, mechanistic or non-neonatal, this has been stated. Unsupported thresholds and exaggerated diagnostic claims have deliberately been avoided.

International Journal of Sex Economy and Orgone Research, Vol. 1, 1942, published under the direction of Wilhelm Reich, M.D., is presented here as a complete compiled journal volume. Sourced directly from the Reich Archive West Microfilm collection, this digital preservation project file establishes the foundational debut of the publication, capturing Reich's early laboratory shifts into bio-electrical experiments and the core mechanics of autonomic life functions. This historical record is preserved and disseminated as part of an active historical preservation project. Provenance and Historical Source This material originates from the historical Reich Orgone Archive / Reich Archive West preservation and microfilm project devoted to preserving and disseminating the published works of Wilhelm Reich, M.D. Historical microfilm documentation records that Eva Reich Moise, M.D., produced the original silver-base microfilm masters in 1957 at Rangeley, Maine, with the assistance of William Moise. Eva Reich is identified as Compiler and Project Consultant, and Harold Treacy as Production Co-ordinator. The subsequent microfilm operation was sponsored by the Reich Orgone Archive, with surviving documentation identifying the project with Reich Archive West, San Francisco, 1973. The United States National Library of Medicine (NLM) independently documents the historical existence of Reich Archive West. The Aurora Karrer Reich Collection (MS C 580) contains an archival item specifically catalogued: “Reich Archive West – year index and automatic title finder, 1975” Box 2, Folder 19 — Creation: 1975 National Library of Medicine - Reich Archive West The present digital reproduction forms part of the documented historical transmission and preservation of Wilhelm Reich's published materials through the Reich Orgone Archive / Reich Archive West preservation project. This provenance information is provided to document the historical chain of preservation and reproduction associated with the material and to assist researchers in understanding its archival history. Historical microfilm documentation: Wilhelm Reich, M.D. Microfilm Collection — Table of Contents, identifying Eva Reich, M.D., William Moise, Harold Treacy, the Reich Orgone Archive, and Reich Archive West Wilhelm Reich's Discovery of the Orgone Energy Wilhelm Reich discovered a specific biological energy that he termed “Orgone”, distinct from electromagnetic energy, present everywhere permeating all visible non visible phenomena. He demonstrated that orgone energy influences living tissues, causes biological pulsation, and is involved in vital functions. Wilhelm Reich developed experimental methods to visualise and measure orgone radiation, by means of the Orgonoscope, the Geiger Muller counter and the electroscope. Orgone energy is responsible for phenomena such as atmospheric flickering, cosmic rays, and biological processes, among a myriad of phenomena not yet fully understood or incorrectly assessed. Biological and Medical Implications of Orgone Wilhelm Reich linked orgone energy to vital functions, including respiration, orgasm, and cell division, emphasising their rhythmic four-beat cycle. He identified biopathies as systemic disturbances in autonomic pulsation, manifesting as various diseases, especially cancer. Wilhelm Reich's Vegetotherapy aimed to restore natural pulsation, release muscular armor, and re-establish healthy biological rhythms. Cancer and Biopathies Wilhelm Reich viewed cancer as a systemic biological disease caused by biopathic shrinking, systemic contraction, and blood tissue putrefaction. He described case studies where Orgone therapy reversed tumor growth, improved blood parameters, and alleviated pain. The therapy involved charging the cells with orgone energy, promoting expansion, and reducing vegetative contraction. Societal and Scientific Critique Wilhelm Reich criticised the irrationality and mysticism in mainstream science, medicine, and politics, especially the influence of metaphysical systems. He warned against pseudoscientific systems like general semantics, which he viewed as escapism and mystification. Wilhelm Reich emphasised the danger of societal armor, repression, and the suppression of natural vital energies. He called for a scientific revolution based on understanding biological energy and natural rhythms, opposing mechanistic and mystical dogmas. Wilhelm Reich emphasised the importance of sincere, natural relationships and the dangers of societal armor and authoritarian education. Critique of Modern Science and Philosophy Wilhelm Reich critiqued the mechanistic worldview, vitalism, and the misuse of scientific language to mystify phenomena. He argued that true understanding requires recognising the systemic, rhythmic, and energetic nature of life. Wilhelm Reich opposed the abstract, metaphysical, and pseudo-scientific systems that distort natural science. He called for a new natural philosophy based on empirical, rhythmic, and energetic principles. Political and Cultural Implications Wilhelm Reich warned that societal armor, repression, and mysticism foster fascism, war, and social decay. Understanding and harnessing Orgone energy could lead to societal liberation. Wilhelm Reich saw the fight against fascist mysticism as a scientific and moral imperative. Critique of Pseudoscience and Mysticism He warned that pseudoscientific systems serve societal interests by avoiding real systemic change. Wilhelm Reich emphasised that true science must be based on empirical energy, rhythms, and systemic understanding. He warned against the societal dangers of mysticism, escapism, and authoritarian control disguised as science. 1. Sex-Economy as a Scientific Discipline Sex-economy is presented as an autonomous branch of natural science, focused on the study of biological energy (Orgone energy) and its role in human health, psychology, and society. Autonomy: It claims equal footing with other sciences and insists on its own methods and standards, not subject to traditional authorities in biology, medicine, or psychology. 2. The Function of the Orgasm Central Role: The function of the orgasm is considered the key to understanding neuroses and the flow of biological energy in the body. Four-Beat Formula: Reich describes a universal biological rhythm: mechanical tension → bioelectrical charge → bioelectrical discharge → mechanical relaxation. This is not only the basis of orgasm but also of all autonomic life functions (e.g., heartbeat, respiration, cell division). Example: In therapy, restoring the ability to experience this full cycle (especially the discharge phase) is seen as essential for mental and physical health. 3. Biological Energy (Orgone) Distinct from Electricity: The energy governing living processes is not identical to electromagnetic energy. Orgone energy is a specific, measurable, and functional energy present in all living and non-living matter. Characteristics: It explains phenomena such as pulsation, heat production, sexual attraction, and the difference between living and non living nature. Example: Orgone accumulators were developed to concentrate this energy for therapeutic purposes, with reported effects on cancer and other diseases. 4. Armoring and Character Structure Armoring: Humans develop chronic muscular and emotional defences ("armor") to block the experience of pleasure, anxiety, and other strong feelings, often as a result of social repression. Character Analysis: Wilhelm Reich's therapy focuses on identifying and dissolving these armours to restore natural functioning. Example: Inappropriate laughter at serious scenes or lascivious jokes at sexual content are seen as defences against experiencing deep feelings. 5. Social and Political Implications Sexual Repression and Society: Sex-economy links individual health to social structures, arguing that sexual repression underlies authoritarianism, fascism, and social irrationality. Historical Evidence: Ethnological studies (e.g., Malinowski's work on the Trobrianders) are cited to show that sexual self-regulation and different family structures are possible and healthier. Example: The prevalence of cancer and neuroses is seen as a result of widespread sexual repression and the failure of mechanistic medicine to address the root causes. 6. Functionalism vs. Mechanistic Science Critique of Mechanism: Mechanistic science is criticised for ignoring the living, dynamic aspects of organisms and for splitting mind and body. 7. Therapeutic Cautions Risks of Untrained Application: The document warns against the untrained use of sex-economic methods, as breaking down armoring can lead to dangerous psychological and physical reactions if not handled by experienced therapists. Example: Only those who have mastered their own armoring and undergone intensive training should attempt to apply these techniques. Summary Table of Key Concepts: Concept Description/Role Example/Implementation Orgone Energy Universal biological energy, distinct from electricity Orgone accumulator, therapy Orgasm Function Four-beat cycle: tension, charge, discharge, relaxation Restoring full orgasmic reflex Armoring Chronic muscular/emotional defence against feelings Vegetotherapy to dissolve armor Orgastic Potency Capacity for full involuntary orgasmic discharge Therapeutic goal in sex-economy Biopathies Diseases from blocked energy (e.g., cancer, neuroses) Linked to bioenergetic stasis Functionalism Holistic, process-oriented science of life Integration of soma and psyche Social Critique Sexual repression as root of authoritarianism and social ills Ethnological evidence (Malinowski) Therapeutic Caution Only trained practitioners should apply sex-economic methods Warning against amateur application 1. Orgone Accumulator Therapy for Cancer Patients Description: Patients sit in an orgone accumulator, an enclosure constructed with alternating layers of organic and metallic materials designed to concentrate Orgone energy. The energy is absorbed by the patient's body through skin and respiration. Mechanism: The Orgone energy charges living tissues, causing expansion of the autonomic nerves(vagotonia), counteracting the chronic contraction (sympatheticotonia) seen in cancer and other biopathies. Case Example: A woman with advanced metastatic breast cancer, severe anemia, and pain underwent daily sessions in the Orgone accumulator. Observed Effects: Redness of the skin, warm perspiration, and subjective sensations of "filling up" or "something clearing up in my body." Reduction in pain during and after sessions, improved sleep, and increased vitality. Haemoglobin levels rose from 35% to 85% over three weeks, and Xrays showed ossification of previously cancerous bone lesions. The patient regained mobility, resumed daily activities, and experienced a period free from cancer pain and tumours. 2. Vegetotherapy (Body-Oriented Psychotherapy) Enhanced by Orgone Energy Description: Vegetotherapy involves working directly with the patient's muscular and autonomic responses to dissolve chronic armoring and restore natural pulsation. Orgone energy is used to amplify these effects. Mechanism: By charging the organism with Orgone energy, vegetotherapy aims to restore the natural rhythm of expansion and contraction (pulsation) in the body, which is essential for emotional and physical health. Case Example: Release of muscular spasms through eliciting gag reflexes, clonic contractions, and deep breathing. Restoration of pleasurable sensations and reduction of anxiety. Temporary elimination of paralysis and improved mobility. The patient experienced cathartic emotional releases and a sense of relief after sessions. In the treatment of a patient with severe muscular rigidity, anxiety, and paralysis, vegetotherapy combined with orgone exposure led to: 3. Orgone Therapy for Depression and Psychosomatic Disorders Description: Orgone energy is used as an adjunct to psychotherapy for patients with depression, anxiety, and psychosomatic complaints. Mechanism: The therapy aims to vitalise the organism, reduce vegetative deadness, and restore emotional responsiveness. Case Example: Gradual return of emotional responsiveness and interest in life. Improved body awareness and reduction of depressive symptoms. Increased capacity for pleasure and spontaneous movement. A patient with chronic depression and lack of sexual interest underwent characteranalytic Vegetotherapy, with attention to breathing and body sensations. Exposure to orgone energy was used to enhance the effects. 4. Objective Measurements and Biological Effects Experimental Findings: Orgone energy was shown to charge red blood cells, increasing their resistance to destruction and improving blood quality in cancer patients. Biological tests demonstrated that after orgone therapy, blood cultures shifted from pathological (T-bacilli) to healthy (bionous) reactions. Patients reported objective improvements in well-being, reduction of pain, and increased vitality. Safety and Training: The documents emphasise that only trained practitioners should apply Orgone therapy, as improper use can lead to psychological or physical risks. Summary Table: Orgone Energy Applications in Therapy Application Area Method/Tool Observed Effects Example Implementation Cancer Therapy Orgone accumulator Pain reduction, improved blood, vitality Daily sessions, 30 min, monitored Psychosomatic Disorders Vegetotherapy + Orgone Release of muscular armor, emotional relief Gag reflex, deep breathing, movement Depression Orgone + psychotherapy Increased vitality, reduced depression Body awareness, breathing exercises Blood Vitalization Orgone exposure Increased haemoglobin, healthy blood tests Monitored blood tests pre/post therapy These examples illustrate how the Orgone Energy Radiation was applied in therapy, with documented case studies and specific therapeutic protocols. The approach is holistic, targeting both physical and emotional health through the restoration of natural energy flow and pulsation.

About the Book The Modern Lions explores a simple but far-reaching transformation in human life. We created symbols to represent reality. Then we used symbols to organize reality. Eventually, we began organizing reality in order to obtain the symbols. Money, grades, titles, rankings, credentials, metrics, photographs, status, reputation, and even ideas such as success and failure began as representations of something else. Yet because these symbols increasingly determine access, opportunity, recognition, comparison, and identity, they can gradually become goals in themselves. The measure can become more important than what it measures. The title can become more important than the work. The photograph can become more important than the experience. The symbol of a successful life can become more important than the life it was supposed to represent. The Modern Lions traces how this reversal becomes possible. Beginning with the human organism in a physical world, the book follows the emergence of representation, abstraction, measurement, symbolic goals, social comparison, and symbolic identity. It examines how we inherit symbolic systems from other people and how concepts such as status, achievement, success, and failure can come to organize real human behavior. But the argument ultimately returns to the body. A physical lion must be present to threaten us. A modern lion does not. Tomorrow's examination, next year's financial uncertainty, professional status, social rejection, reputation, or the possibility of future failure can become informationally present now. Through prediction and evaluation, symbolic realities can acquire biological relevance and participate in autonomic and neuroendocrine regulation. The extraordinary advantage of symbolic intelligence is that we do not have to wait for the future to arrive before preparing for it. Its possible biological cost is that we do not always have to wait for the future to arrive before paying for it. This is not a book against symbols. Without them there would be no language, mathematics, science, money, law, complex institutions, long-term planning, or civilization as we know it. It is a book about remembering the relationship between the symbol and what the symbol was for. Because beneath every symbolic trajectory remains a physical one: a finite organism, in a physical world, moving through physical time. The symbols are ours. The life they organize is ours too.
