Bio-Engineered Graphene-Based Cage for Efficient Local Enrichment and Biodegradation of Aqueous Organic Wastes

Scientific Reports

Online resource

Abstract Microorganism immobilization has attracted great attention as a traditional method to overcome aqueous organic wastes containing N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF). In this approach, graphene oxide was modified with functional polymer firstly to obtain micro-composites material (PGO), and then the prepared composites were deposited on the surface of copp…

A six‐port network based on substrate integrated waveguide coupler with metal strips

IET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation

Online resource

Abstract In this study, a novel coupling structure based on half‐mode substrate‐integrated waveguide (HMSIW) is proposed with a small size and broad bandwidth. The HMSIW coupler is realised by connecting their equivalent magnetic walls with metal strips, which avoids exposing the semi‐enclosed magnetic walls outside.

Day-Ahead Electric Load Forecasting for the Residential Building with a Small-Size Dataset Based on a Self-Organizing Map and a Stacking Ensemble Learning Method

Applied Sciences

Online resource

Electric load forecasting for buildings is important as it assists building managers or system operators to plan energy usage and strategize accordingly. Recent increases in the adoption of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) have made building electrical consumption data available, and this has increased the feasibility of data-driven load forecasting.
