SA-M-SBL: An Algorithm for CSI-Based Device-Free Localization With Faulty Prior Information

IEEE Access

Online resource

As an emerging technique, device-free localization (DFL) is promising to localize the target without attaching any transceivers. Recently, the benefits of channel state information (CSI) on DFL have been revealed in this paper.

Agile Free‐Form Signal Filtering and Routing with a Chaotic‐Cavity‐Backed Non‐Local Programmable Metasurface

Advanced Science

Online resource

Abstract Filter synthesis is an inverse problem that is traditionally approached rationally by engineering the coupling between selected pairs of lumped resonators. The implicit restriction to spatially disjoint resonators strongly limits the design space, making it challenging to build extremely tunable filters.

A comparison of financial and operational efficiency between smart and traditional insufflation for laparoscopic surgery: A granular analysis

Laparoscopic, Endoscopic and Robotic Surgery

Online resource

Objective: Smart insufflation (SI) techniques relying on valve and membrane-free insufflation are increasing in usage. Although considerable literature exists demonstrating the benefits of SI on procedural ease and patient outcomes, there remains a paucity describing the financial impact of these devices.

Thermal stability and magnetization switching of composite free layer with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy

AIP Advances

Online resource

We present a micromagnetic study of a ferromagnetically exchange-coupled composite free layer design for perpendicular magnetic tunnel junctions. The thermal stability factor and critical switching current density depend on the exchange coupling strength and effective anisotropy ratio between the sublayers of the composite free layer.

Contraceptive use in France in 2012 and 2022: a descriptive analysis of two repeated nationwide cross-sectional studiesResearch in context

The Lancet Regional Health. Europe

Online resource

Summary: Background: A decrease in oral contraceptive use, newly available methods, and the emerging role of midwives suggested meaningful changes in contraception use in France. With two repeated cross-sectional studies, we aimed to describe contraception use in France in 2012 and 2022, in the total population and across age groups.

Domain-sensitive in situ observation of layer-by-layer removal at Si(100) in H2 ambient

New Journal of Physics

Online resource

Double-layer step formation on Si(100) substrates is a crucial prerequisite for antiphase-domain free III–V compound semiconductor heteroepitaxy. Due to its unequaled relevance in microelectronics, the (100) oriented surface of silicon is by far the most studied semiconductor surface.

Toolkit for integrating millimeter-sized microfluidic biomedical devices with multiple membranes and electrodes.

Springer Nature

Rigid and planar π-conjugated molecules leading to long-lived intramolecular chargetransfer states exhibiting thermally activated delayed fluorescence

Newcastle University

Online resource

Intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) occurs when photoexcitation causes electron transfer from an electron donor to an electron acceptor within the same molecule and is usually stabilized by decoupling of the donor and acceptor through an orthogonal twist between them.
