This study establishes logical closure of the geometric information system based on Information Geometry. By postulating the axiom of Maximum Information Efficiency, we derive the Ideal Planck Constant and demonstrate that physical reality emerges from Saturated Excitation within a constrained phase-space topology. Applying the Shannon Entropy Limit and Channel Capacity, we prove that the Fine Structure Constant is a geometric projection of the Vacuum Polarization Background. The framework utilizes the Paley-Wiener theorem and orthogonal decomposition to identify the Deviation Field. Crucially, we postulate the Universal Topological Reference, which strictly anchors the energy-lightspeed identity across dimensions, establishing a unified SI-compliant metric. The Gravitational Constant was derived from the residue caused by the decay of Geometric Fidelity, explicitly defining gravity as a recoil force driven by the Topological Time Anchor . Furthermore, the model introduces field-cavity duality and vacuum-breathing modes. Through Geometric Screening rooted in Measure Theory, we explain Momentum Asymmetry. The system's structural closure is secured via Quantum Phase Locking and Generalized Rabi Oscillation, confirming that the G Efficiency structure aligns closely with the CODATA 1998 historical baseline (

Defining a project in digital art history is exciting and full of promises: From the possibility to unveil artistic trends over a large period of time to the discovery of the source of inspiration of a recurring pattern, via the thrill of training a machine that sees what has been unseen in years of art historical practice. Unfortunately, the reality of such interdisciplinary projects is often far from these expectations that large digital corpuses and computational methods seem to offer. Machine learning models are usually trained on natural images – by natural images, we here refer to photographs representing scenes of our everyday and contemporary life – and do not meet the same accuracies on paintings, and the perfect corpus of paintings does not exist yet. Not all paintings have been digitized, not all collections have implemented the requirements for computational approaches, and these digital corpuses have not been annotated for the purpose of machine learning training. Furthermore, many assumptions are taken on the material that is used, the digital image, and on other fundamental notions that lead to a constricted formalist vision of art history. Drawing on a project on the computational and historical understanding of hand gestures in early modern time, the paper reflects on the contrast between the first research questions and the readjustments performed with the use of AI and art historical material. Standing at the crossroads of two very diverging and demanding fields, the paper also questions the possibility of finding a position in-between art history and computer science when dealing with preconceptions and uncertainties.

Host-pathogen communication appears to be crucial in establishing the outcome of bacterial infections. There is increasing evidence to suggest that this communication can take place by bacterial pathogens sensing and subsequently responding to host neuroendocrine (NE) stress hormones. Bacterial pathogens have developed mechanisms allowing them to eavesdrop on these communication pathways within their hosts. These pathogens can use intercepted communication signals to adjust their fitness to persist and cause disease in their hosts. Recently, there have been numerous studies highlighting the ability of NE hormones to act as an environmental cue for pathogens, helping to steer their responses during host infection. Host NE hormone sensing can take place indirectly or directly via bacterial adrenergic receptors (BARs). The resulting changes in bacterial gene expression can be of strategic benefit to the pathogen. Furthermore, it is intriguing that not only can bacteria sense NE stress hormones but they are also able to produce key signalling molecules known as autoinducers. The rapid advances in our knowledge of the human microbiome, and its impact on health and disease highlights the potential importance of communication between the microbiota, pathogens and the host. It is indeed likely that the microbiota input significantly in the neuroendocrinological homeostasis of the host by catabolic, anabolic, and signalling processes. The arrival of unwanted guests, such as bacterial pathogens, clearly has a major impact on these delicately balanced interactions. Unravelling the pathways involved in interkingdom communication between invading bacterial pathogens, the resident microbiota, and hosts, may provide novel targets in our continuous search for new antimicrobials to control disease.
